A Brief History of TF-METAL

The story of TF-METAL began in 1945, in Japan, when Fuji Kiko Co., Ltd. began manufacturing machines, tools and eventually automotive components.

Over the years, the company grew and grew, forming a capital alliance with Tachi-S Co., Ltd. in 1999. The company then began its expansion into North America with the establishment of Fuji Kiko of USA Corporation (FKU) in 2000, followed by Fuji Autotech U.S.A. in 2004 and Fuji Kiko Tachi-S Mexico in 2012.

In 2017, Tachi-S acquired all automotive component manufacturing operations and re-named the company TF-METAL in 2018.

In the spirit of continuous improvement and to meet customer and regulatory quality standards, TF-METAL’s Walton, Kentucky and Mexico Plants have been certified to ISO 9001 and IATF 16949.
